Dr. Marshall is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with expertise in cosmetic as well as reconstructive procedures. Before coming to Western North Carolina Dr. Marshall practiced in a Plastic Reconstructive and Hand Surgery clinic in Missoula Montana. He is committed to restoring function to people with injuries birth defects and/or cancer and he also takes pride in helping people look and feel their personal best. As a Doctor of Osteopathy Dr. Marshall treats the whole person and always takes time to align his patientsâ€™ expectations with their surgery. Dr. Marshall received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed a fiveâ€year residency in General Surgery followed by a twoâ€year fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Marshall is double-board certified in both Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and in General Surgery. During his 7 years in Philadelphia Dr. Marshall received extensive training at prestigious medical centers such as Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Geisinger Medical Center Cooper University Hospital and the Westchester Medical Center in New York.
