About Samantha Levin, MD

Dr. Samantha Levin is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. She provides care for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions with a focus on minimally invasive (arthroscopic) procedures of the knee and shoulder. Her clinical interests also include general orthopaedics, joint replacement, and trauma care. Dr. Levin earned her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at Orlando Health. She went on to complete a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Rochester, where she served as team physician for St. John Fisher University. She approaches treatment as a partnership, working closely with each patient to develop a personalized care plan tailored to their goals - whether returning to sports, outdoor activities, or everyday movement without pain. Dr. Levin also volunteers as a team physician for the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team, traveling internationally to support athletes in competition. Originally from Boston, she now calls western North Carolina home and enjoys mountain biking, skiing, backpacking, and learning to garden in her spare time.
